I'm so glad you got to read our silly, unconventional, and weird ways of writing. Thanks for being here! Many of our essays are in a more standard format but WHEN YOU GET THE ONE AND ONLY MARGO AARON HERE, and when I'm laid up in bed because of spine surgery, things are bound to get a little weird.
I’m here from Brainstorm Road Substack and inaugural member that quit creating when my dad died around this time last year. Brainstorm Road has helped remind me that I can fit in the creative work around the shit storm life is one small block of time, as a working mom, and I’m now thankful she introduced me to this group!! Can’t wait to follow along and learn!
I'm so so so sorry to hear about your dad passing! I'm sure the grief and feelings come at all sorts of strange times, and that it never really ends. I'm so glad that you're a part of Brainstorm Road. It's an incredible community.
LAUREN the best part about this is that I didn't even notice that Margo has my back massage tool thingy in her lap and I about died laughing when I realized how candid this photo was... and it's not apparent from the photo but Margo is ~ 5'2" and I'm like 5'10" and we both just happened to be wearing leopard print 🤣🤣🤣 and anytime I put her in my clothes it's just TOO TOO FUN.
